If you have a question for Dr. Klein that is not answered here, or would like us to contact you with more information, please fill in the form below. We will be happy to address any questions or concerns you may have.
Q: How much do veneers cost?
A: It is impossible to quote a fee without seeing you first. A comprehensive exam and x-rays are necessary to determine what your needs and options are.
Q: How long will veneers last?
A: With proper home care, indefinitely!
Q: How long does it take to get veneers?
A: It takes two appointments. At your first appointment, the involved teeth are prepared for the new veneers, and temporary coverings are placed on your teeth. At your second appointment, approximately 3 weeks later, the permanent veneers are bonded to the teeth and you'll walk away with a beautiful new smile.
Q: How long does it take to bleach your teeth, and how long does it last?
A: Once the trays are made, it takes 10 days to 2 weeks to reach your desired shade. Touch-up needs vary, depending on habits such as smoking, coffee or tea consumption, etc. Normally, once every 3–6 months will keep your teeth white and bright!
Q: I have some spacing between my teeth and I also would like them whiter. What would you recommend?
A: We can help you in both areas. We would start with a consultation to determine if porcelain veneers would be the best solution for closing the spaces. As far as whitening your teeth, bleaching trays would be the answer. We would recommend bleaching first, as we would want your veneers to match the new, lighter shade of your teeth.
Q: I have a lot of cavities, but I really don't like getting shots. I see that you have a dental laser in your office. Could I have all my work done with the laser, with no shots?
A: Before we can answer that, you would need to be seen in our office for x-rays and a complete exam. We need to know what tooth surfaces are involved and how large the cavities are. If the decay is too extensive, we can't get adequate anesthesia (you won't be numb enough) with just the laser. We do use the laser as much as possible!
